Booked a tour to take my boyfriend for his birthday today, and I couldn’t have been happier with our experience meeting Travis & Danielle and sampling the wine, gin, vodka and bourbon they have to offer! We’ve been on many bourbon tours along the trail, but the small town feel of this one and the personable staff here made this our favorite- even surpassing the big guys. Learning this distillery is located on land formerly owned by George Washington and that Travis takes the time to bottle and label his product makes this such a special experience. If you’re wanting to take a day trip up to KY, this is WELL worth the drive! I couldn’t recommend it more and we will definitely be back!

    This place is great!
Small, homey, easy to see and understand the whole process, and home to 3+ great bourbons that you can sample.
I think their dry gin is a fantastic sipping gin and perfect for a gimlet. Their dirty gin is very different. Try it with a little Sprite and you'll find another go-to drink for the hot evenings!
The vodka is my wife's favorite and I picked up a couple bottles on your visit.

We were able to bottle our own bourbon yesterday as part of their July 4th celebration. I went with the 100 proof with warm notes of vanilla. Another great sipping bourbon to enjoy.

Very hospitable, friendly, patient, and they are incredibly proud of their products!

The drive there is calming through the winding hills of western Kentucky.

Absolute hidden gem! Travis and the team at General George are fantastic, knowledgeable, and fun. The Bourbon was fantastic, maybe the best on our tour of 6+ distilleries. I am not a gin fan but the gin at general George was very good. I didn't try the vodka but others really enjoyed it. If bourbon, gin, or vodka are not your thing, try the very approachable wines. We will definitely be back.

It's a bit of a drive, but was an amazing experience! Great bourbon, gin, vodka, next thing you know you're there for an hour and a half. Would highly recommend visiting.

We had a wonderful experience during our bourbon tour and tasting. Danielle was welcoming and everything was well-organized. Travis provided the tour and it was quite educational and informative.
Travis was knowledgeable, personable, and made the experience fun by sharing stories, and answering questions about history of area and trivia. You could tell he and his family were passionate about what they do, which made the tour even more enjoyable.
The tasting was definitely a highlight.
We sampled a great variety of bourbons, gins each with its own unique flavor profile.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone—whether you're a bourbon enthusiast or just looking for something unique and fun to do. We left with a deeper appreciation for bourbon and a couple of new favorites!

We stumbled on this distillery on a Saturday afternoon. So glad we took the drive.

Great little tour with loads of info. (Never knew George Washington owned land in Ky).

We also enjoyed some nice spirits. Smooth vodka and a very tasty bourbon. Can’t wait to bring friends back and buy another bottle.

    Plenty of parking -
